2020 BLOODSTOCK SOUTH AFRICA NATIONAL YEARLING SALE

The 2020 Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale, is South Africa’s oldest premier yearling sale, with the majority of this country’s leading breeders being represented. 

Usually, the sale is supported by a host of international buyers, headed by Shadwell, the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Bjorn Nelson, David Ferraris, Tony Millard, and James Bester among others. 

The lengthy list of champions purchased at the National Sale in recent years include all of Futura, Legislate, Legal Eagle and reigning South African Horse Of The Year Do It Again (above), as well as Kilindini and Missisippi Burning – the winners of this season’s G1 Cape Guineas and G1 World Sports Betting Cape Fillies Guineas respectively.
