New stallion and American Triple Crown hero American Pharoah has done amazingly well at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale with outstanding Southern Hemisphere yearlings.
With a 86% clearance rate American Pharoah yearlings sold for a total of A$3,845,000 with the highest-priced yearling selling for A$625,000.
Now back in North America following the fourth season at Coolmore Australia, American Pharoah started 2021 on a winning note when Kentucky Pharoah became his 13th stakes winner with a victory in the Listed Dania Beach Stakes.
Returning to the races two weeks after breaking his maiden over the same Gulfstream Park turf course, under Julien Leparoux, the colt powered clear to win by three lengths and has now won two of four starts.
Kentucky Pharoah is the first foal out of Canadian champion and multiple graded stakes winner Strut The Course.
