Co-owner Lee impressed the racing community in Southern Hemisphere when the newly established farm sold an Exceed And Excel colt for A$1.05 million to Aquis Racing owner, Tony Fung at the 2020 Inglis Easter Sale.
With a draft of 19 quality horses, once again Lee has set out to set records at the 2021 Magic Millions’ RTR sale.
“Our top lots are Lot106 - Deep Field colt out of Hot Gossip, Lot96 - Russian Revolution filly out of French Fern, Lot39 - Smart Missile colt out of Twin Star Rocket, Lot58 - Extreme Choice colt out of Arnault and Lot154 - Pride Of Dubai colt out of Wedgetail Eagle”, said Lee.
“They have Black Type pedigree with strong commercial sires and are competent racehorses, so we believe they can deliver great performance on the track in the future,” he said.
“Lot 106 has a very good body type for racing. He delivers good action and is very powerful for a 2YO already. He will be very speedy and will be a sprinter later in his career he will get further with more time and maturity. Similar to all Deep Field sired horses he looks like a fast sprinter type.
“This colt is very smart and will learn things very quickly. So far he has done as much as a 2YO can and he has been sound, said Lee quoting his jockey.
“While Lot 96 is a very athletic filly. She moves very well and is quite flexible in her action. She is brilliant 2YO and looks like a speedy type but will eventually get over the middle distance with more time and experience.
“Her pedigree suggests she is very fast and speedy. She is a very independent-minded filly with intelligence.
“She is progressing very nicely and I couldn’t be happier with her right now.
“Lot 39 is a very strong and balanced colt. He is quite explosive with a lot of power.
“He's going to be a speedster. He is a very early 2YO sprinter type
“I like this horse a lot because of how balanced he is when he gallops out. He shows great action with a lot of improvement with time.
“His progress in the stable been A-class.
“Very nice nature and very calm attitude so I believe this will help him and take him a long way in the racing career,” said Lee.
A-List Stud combines ICT technologies, premium facilities with expert thoroughbred knowledge to provide the highest standard of care for every horse all year round. They are also an official bloodstock agent to the Hong Kong Jockey Club for the past four years.
“Extreme Choice X Arnault colt, Lot 58 is an incredibly explosive type horse with very powerful hindquarters. I believe he's going to be a sprinter.
“His progress in the stable has been very good all because he has a carefree attitude and is willing to accept everything that’s put in front of him.
“And finally our Pride Of Dubai colt, Lot 154, seems like a very promising colt with a big future.
“His half-brother to a Derby winner and has many Black-Type winners amongst his family.
“I believe he is very brilliant now as a 2yo but he is going to be even better later in his career and the more time and more experience this colt gain is going to take him a long way.
“He will be a middle-distance horse as for now in his early career and his family line suggest he will get even further.
“His progress in the stable been spot on and can’t be happier with the way this colt is going,” said Lee about his draft’s headline horses.
The great fan of HK’s dual horse of the year horse "Golden Sixty" sold Timestorm to Hong Kong.
“He is a very nice horse. We own his sire Outreach,” said Lee looking at the racetrack successes of his graduates, “We are confident he will have good race results at Hong Kong in future. He showed marked improvement in training in Australia. He performed very well with his trials here.”
“Another quality stallion we own and my personal favourite is Ole Kirk,” said Lee.
“We think his progeny will have good results in 4 years.
“We have confidence in him. And we have high expectations of him. We think his achievement is distinguished from winning various group races.
“We believe he can maintain and pass on his good genes to his progenies,” he said.
