Godolphin trainer James Cummings says Savatiano will be 'dangerously hard to beat' in Saturday's Gr.2 Let's Elope Stakes at Flemington.
The talented 6YO missed the Gr.1 Memsie Stakes last weekend, but heads into the race on the back of a strong victory in the Gr.2 P.B. Lawrence Stakes (1400m) and Cummings said Savatiano is primed for Saturday's test.
This might be Plan B after missing the Memsie Stakes, but she carries winning form against the males over this distance into a race that suits a mare who has won 10 races and close to $2 million.
Savatiano is a $2.50 favourite for the Let's Elope with Sportsbet.
Godolphin will also saddle up a number of good chances at Rosehill.
The team has Duca Valentinois and Ranier in the Gr.2 Theo Marks Stakes (1300m).
Four-year-old Flit will run in the Gr.2 Sheraco Stakes (1200m).
