Promising mare Rubisaki could be back in work within a fortnight as she continues to make encouraging progress from a minor suspensory injury.
Owner Joe O'Neill said the 4YO would have a scan next week and if it comes back clear, a plan to get her back into work will be drawn up.
Rubisaki was one of the spruik horses heading into the spring, following a stunning autumn campaign in Sydney.
However, she didn't get the chance to hit some of the heights predicted, not enjoying the firmer tracks before injury saw her spring end two runs into the preparation.
