Little Avondale Stud has donated a service to their popular stallion Per Incanto (Street Cry) to be auctioned at the New Zealand Racing Hall of Fame induction evening at Sky City Hamilton on May 2.
The value of that highlight lot was boosted last weekend when the farm’s Roch ’N’ Horse became the sire’s 19th individual stakes winner in the Power Turf Sprint (Listed, 1200m).
Roch ‘N’ Horse is one of 16 stakes performers for Per Incanto this season, and joined Belle Fascino and hardy campaigner Shadows Cast as stakes winners in the last month.
“She’s added to Per Incanto’s great season of 16 stakes performers, including a runner-up in the Oaks (Gr 1, 2400m) in Charms Star.
He is the leading sire of winners in Hong Kong and Singapore and is second only to Savabeel here. In Australia he has 62 per cent runners to winners.
